Don Hanley was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey but was raised in Hingham, Massachusetts, and University Park, Texas. His father has spent his entire career in the asset management business with multiple companies and as a result, the family moved around quite a bit.

Don graduated from Christchurch boarding school in Virginia where he was a member of the varsity golf and crew teams. While in high school, he spent several weeks in India visiting New Delhi and several islands in the Indian Ocean. He also hiked and camped in the Himalayas for a week. He made a second visit to India with a group of fishing YouTubers who traveled, fished, and filmed for two weeks.

Don joined the Global Wealth Advisors in 2023 as an intern. After graduation, he moved into a Financial Analyst position in the Houston, Texas office. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the University of South Florida in Tampa which is part of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ program.

Don’s many hobbies include serving as a member of an investment club, fishing, golf, fitness, and spending time with his mini-Labradoodle.
